Hands On Boudoir Photography Workshop Lead by Ashleigh Taylor

Inside My Las Vegas Boudoir Photography Workshop

I recently led an intimate boudoir photography workshop in Las Vegas designed for professional photographers ready to elevate both their creative and business skills. This hands-on experience was about more than just lighting—it was about learning to create meaningful, empowering boudoir portraits and build a profitable photography business.

The day began with a guided shoot featuring three diverse models. We explored a range of natural light and strobe setups, including 1-, 2-, and 3-light configurations and creative gel lighting techniques. Photographers had the chance to build their portfolios while receiving real-time posing and lighting feedback from me throughout the session.

After lunch, we dove into the business of boudoir—marketing strategies, pricing models, client experience, and high-touch sales. I shared the exact systems I use to run a high-end boudoir studio, with plenty of time for questions and personalized advice.

Representation and inclusivity were core values of the workshop, as was creating space for every attendee to grow in their own way. As attendee Ashanta Staten put it, “Ashleigh is a true gem to the photography community.”

This workshop wasn’t about one-size-fits-all formulas. It was about showing up as your most empowered self—behind the camera and in your business—and giving yourself permission to make the work your own.
